Site Lead, High-Crest Springhill

Lisa Sangster is the Site Lead at High-Crest Springhill, a 76-bed Nursing Home, where she is responsible for overall leadership, operations, and quality of care. She works closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to foster a safe, welcoming, and person-centered environment. Lisa is passionate about building strong teams and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate care.

With over 30 years of progressive nursing experience in both acute care and long-term care settings across Canada and the U.S., Lisa brings deep clinical knowledge and leadership expertise to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing (Athabasca University) and is currently completing her Master of Nursing at Athabasca University. She also earned her Diploma of Nursing from the Aberdeen School of Nursing.

Lisa has served on leadership teams for Quality & Safety, Ethics, and Professional Practice Committees in acute care environments, and has led initiatives in staff education, leadership development, and trauma-informed practice. She is currently involved in leadership integration and quality improvement initiatives at High-Crest Springhill and is certified in Psychologically Safe Leadership.

Outside of work, Lisa is an avid quilter and enjoys teaching others this craft.
